Residential Pottery Workshop. 21-05-2024

Welcome to our upcoming Pottery Workshops.

These will held at our home and studio in the seven sisters nature reserve.

On offer is 3 nights accomodation, self catering.

2 days working in the pottery, where we will tailor a programme to suit your interests. I will fire your work at a later stage and send it on to you. We will design the glazes together and this I will execute on your behalf.

We have 3 firing techniques on offer including traditional stoneware, Raku and Saggar. We fire everything here with gas as we are off grid.

These courses are designed for beginners as we will be doing seperate residencies for experienced potters. This would preferably be for individuals but if you would like to come as a pair then this can also be accomodated. Just be aware that we only have enough electricity for one wheel, so we will have to practice different skills and work around this set up. The joys of off grid living.

You can also bring a partner/friend just to stay and enjoy the reserve while we work in the studio.

We live in an idilyc spot and now we are ready to open the doors to potters and get the creative spirit of Cuckmere fired up.
